Front Strut Bar Bent!

Front Strut Bar Bent!
Hi, I've only had my RX a few days and have just found that the Front suspension tower bar is bent in the middle its not a massive bend.
My first thought was that it had been in a crash. I've looked for any signs of repairs to both wings but unless it was repaired professionaly and had a full respray I can't see any signs of reapir to the bodywork even the gaps between panels are exact.
It seams that the car was taken very care of, it's got a full up to date deailership service history and Tons of recepits, I have found that in 2007 it failed the MOT stating that the strut was insecure.
Would there be another reason for the bend?
