Front o2 sensor replacement help

Hello all, I am new to the rx8 in fact I am new to working on newer cars all together. I traded a nice running 67 mustang for a 2004 rx8. I am trying to change the upstream o2 sensor and I can't figure out where the wiring harness is? It goes up over the bell housing and I can't reach it. I have searched the net for hours and I can't find any info on the front o2 sensor. I'm in over my head here and could use some help... I should clarify it is an automatic transmission.

Thanks in advance,

It is behind the upper intake manifold on the back of the engine between the engine hoist eye hook and the oil filter housing. Grey connector peaking out above the oil filter in this pic. You can get to it fairly easy unless you have sasquatch hands.

Thank you guys so much for your help... It was not an easy task changing those sensors... Now I have replaced coils plugs, wires, maf sensor, and o2 sensors. So now I'm getting a whole new list of check engine light codes and the car is running worse. I'm getting p0200 injector circuit malfunction, p0171 system too lean. P0031 ho2 heater control circuit low as well as p3101 and c0070. The car has a low idle, hesitates to accelerate, leans out at idle when it heats up and eventually dies. I replaced the basics, now I need some help... My gut tells me this is all related to fuel delivery, it could be as simple as a filter but I'm learning with this car, there is no simple... Let me know if you have any thoughts on this and again thanks for your help..

Have you cleaned the E-shaft sensor and then reset the e-shaft sensor profile? It's free, and changing that much might call for a wipe of the fuel trims and ess profile to let the ECU learn the new sensors.

Did you use an OEM sensor....or an aftermarket?
