I had a 30-year itch to have a Wankel Rotary - Done - this is a 2004 with 38,000 miles from the 2nd owner- Has most upgrades from the Mazda - No Navi - No Wing. Recalls done - Never had an engine replaced - 2nd owner had it for 12 years only adding the last 16,000 miles. Looks almost like a 14 year old new car. I will put a Black Halo Ignition System on it and drive it. Runs out 100% now but they never put coils on it. Starts instantly cold and Hot.

 

Get it compression tested.

 

Looks great (way better than my ugly duckling) -- NAP is right, get it compression tested, do the coils and other 30k maintenance items (if not already documented as done) and just enjoy it.

Is that a Scat Pack back there?
