JP First post, new owner

Hello everyone from Japan! I just moved to Fussa, Japan in Tokyo prefecture (USAF). About a week in I found an 05' RX8 on the local Facebook swap page. I worked with the guy for a bit and snagged it for $2.5k, which seemed pretty good considering it had a freshly renewed inspection fee and road-tax.
I don't know too much about cars or car maintenance, but I've got a basic understanding of some of it. The previous owner had not had any issues with the engine, and wasn't able to get a compression test before selling it to me, luckily there's a dealership pretty close that can do just that. I have a few cosmetic fixes that I know I wanna do, like the cracked dash, but not much outside of that. I'd be glad to have some suggestions from some experienced folks.

Everyone has the cracked dash. It's the certificate of authenticity!
