I know rotary engine is cool and unique i love the sound of it and power.. but i feel like i need something more powerful, i dont wanna get rid of the car cuz i love the body style. Im thinking about putting and ls2 on it, ive heard is hard ive heard is easy.. if any one knows about it and have done i would like to know how much you spend total and what you need

Check out t Frankenstein RX-8 section of the forums. There is a bunch of info and project builds in it, including LSX engine conversions. I don't know first hand, but I believe I read in that forum it costs at least $30,000 to do the conversion.

If the cost is upwards to 30k for LS swap, I'd personally go for a 3 Rotor engine. Check those out too. They're pretty awesome.

not gonna happen for 12k. if you can do most of the work yourself and can rebuild a re or rew yourself it can happen for 12k other than that sell your car and buy a cheap used vette
