loss of power while at a stop
My car seems to be loseing. Power when im at a stop it also has trouble picking up speed any ideas what it might be im also a new owner of a rx8 love car

We heavily recommend owners get a compression test before buying any RX-8, since so many are offloaded with dead engines to used car dealers. I'm hunting for an RX-8 myself right now, and so far 3 of the 4 RX-8s that I've asked for compression scores on have had failing engines, and the 4th wasn't far off.
Ignition failure is a possibility too, but stalling when stopped once the engine warms up is a pretty common sign of a failing engine.
