The plastic cracked on my Series 2 dipstick.....apparently these are nearly impossible to find. I have been unable to find anything new or used in stock anywhere (including calling local dealers). Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket part that actually works on these?

 

I wonder if a Ford part cut to the proper length would work.

 

Junk yard, Call one and they might mail it to you or it might be close enough where you can drive to it.

A dealer may not have it in stock but can order it and you'll have it in hand in a few days at the most. I would go that route personally.
