Engine Coolant Level Warning Light

Hi everyone !

My engine coolant level warning light shows up while driving the RX8 and goes away after sometime. It comes back again. I have checked the level of water in the tank and it is nearly full or midway through low and full level. What could be the cause and what should I do ? Would appreciate your valuable comments. Thank you !

You've got a couple of options. Option #1 is to very, very carefully take out your overflow tank, wash it out, fill it with very hot water and shake the everliving **** out of it until the sensor at the bottom is free of crud and dirt. Your other option is to buy a new overflow tank and install it. The sensor is a known warranty issue. Happened to me on our oddessy home across the states, no actual coolant issues.

Yep...check coolant....if it's low fill it up and keep an eye on it for why

More likely is the almost universal sensor issue...
