I've never actually seen this before and I couldn't really find much on here, I tried to drill through but these bolts are made of vibranium or something and my titanium drillbits did barely anything to them, the one that you can see is deformed as hell I spent about 30 mins on and off, I cannot get these things off, my question I guess is - is it safe to just cut this entire metal plate off with a dremel? I really don't see a need for it other than making it more difficult to steal the ECU

 

Most rx8s around the world don't even have that so ...yes cut it off.
