UK Diffrence between 192 and 231??

Tries to post this in the "tech Garage" but it wouldnt let me...

Basically what i wanna know is the difference in these engines as the block and internals are surely the same?

Is it just the inlet manifold and ECU?

-Internals are not the same. It's 4 port vs 6 port.

See the tech PDF that is in the new owner's thread, which is a sticky in this subforum. Diagrams of both are in there.

You will be able to create a thread outside of the new member subforum once you have at least 10 posts (which you have) AND more than 30 days as a member.

Basic questions like this are much safer in the new member's forum anyway

yeah i know the inlet manifold is 4 and 6 port but are you saying the block is different?

6 ports on the actual block? on the 231

4 ports on the actual block? on the 192

Hello all,
I was wondering if the term "block" is accurate for a Rotary engine?

Well, the engine is only made up five major non-moving parts: The center iron, the end plates, and the two housings. The 6-port and 4-port irons are different, since that is where the ports are.

Again, see the new owner's thread.

Not really, but people understand what it means.
