Dies at idle, please help!
So I just got a new set of bhr ignition coils and wires and they all work fine. I got my car running but it will not stay running when I try to let it idle. Compression is good, airpump delete was done to this car, only code I have is p2259 secondary air injector circuit low. Please help me out I just got the car over the weekend
Sounds like a vacuum leak. Your intake needs to be airtight after the MAF. Look for open holes, split hoses, etc. Do you have an aftermarket intake and if so, which one?
There are many threads like this.

so he put a shitty aftermarket intake on it and I haven’t had the money to buy a new one, but till idle while it’s warming up then it’ll fluctuate up and down u til it kills itself or when I get it gas and it goes back down to idle it wants too die
Yep shitty intakes will do that, get it back to stock or to AEM or Racing Beat soon as you can.
MEanwhile you can compare your vacuum routing to what it's supposed to look like https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tec...iagram-214910/
Open hoses will also cause these types of problems, the intake needs to be airtight after the MAF. If they removes the intake, they probably left the VFAD nipple under the throttle body open.
