There is a deflood thread. Search, I cannot from where I am.
Basically, fuel out first. Pull plugs, pull fuel pump fuse, (you may not have all the flashes considering where you are) and crank, in 10 second cycles, until dry. Remember, engine has to go around 3 times to get each rotor face past the plug holes. When dry, might have to charge battery, get a cc of oil through the plug hole for each housing, crank it to distribute the oil, install plugs, install fuse and try it.
How old are coils?

Deflooding an RX-8 using just the battry for cranking will drain it too far to start after the deflooding is complete, and it will re-flood. Get some jumper cables, hook up the battery to another running car, and then repeat sets of 5-10 second cranking periods with fuel disabled. Try 10 times first, then another 10. Make sure to let the starter cool between each cranking period.
You should be able to start normally once it's properly deflooded, as long as you haven't killed the new battery in the process.
