Daytime Running Lights?
I don't have DRLs. Do all cars come with this and it's a case of enabling it somehow? Is there a plugin component I can install to add this easily?
I don't want to add some LED strip or anything, just use the regular lights.

It varies from country to country. In North America, Canadian cars have DRL and US cars don't.
It can be added. There are some threads here by Canadians who have brought US 8s across the border. As I recall, there's a control module for it. I don't know if it's just plug-in or needs wiring mods. If someone who knows the details doesn't pipe in, it's worth searching the site. Then seeing if your wiring matches what folks here have found.
