Coolant system at 180,000kms

Ive recently bought a cheap rx8 (180,000kms) and am slowly resurrecting it, brakes, plugs, coils, oils etc
Car runs really well, perfect idle, feels quick, no smoke, shakes a little bit but nothing drastic.
According to this forum my main concern with this many kms should be the cooling system.

Would these be worth the money? Chinese made but theyre just rubber lines right?

Welcome to the club, check out the new owners sticky for more detailed information on this car. As for your question, I use something similar for my coolant hoses. You can cheap out a bit on those it wont really hurt anything.

I would recommend doing a compression test as well so you know how much life is left on your engine. The car shouldnt shake at all, this engine is very smooth. Could be an issue with your engine mounts.

Yeah im pretty certain its the motor mounts as it is old and everything else runs fine
Will do a compression test later down the track but for now im more worried about my cooling system failing. Do the radiators break or just worsen overtime?

If it's the stock radiator you should replace it with an all aluminum 2 row radiator. The stock radiator is complete crap.

Edit: get new engine mounts from Mazda. Cant cheap out on those.
