So I started having this problem about a week ago. I let my car start to warm up for 10-15 minutes, half the time if works fine, the other half it slowly goes to 6k rpms and tops out there. I've fixed it by jacking the car up on the left side and lowering back down and it will do fine. It has become more and more of a nuisance as of yesterday. Any idea what's wrong with my baby?? Thanks guys

 

You seem to have a problem with your car.

 

Start with basic stuff. What, if any, service has been done on the car recently? Ignition replaced? MAF & IAT cleaned? Also how many miles on it? What series: 1 or 2? Has the fuel pump ever been serviced or replaced? Filter for same?

You see, if we have the basic info to work with, odds improve of providing you with a game plan to correct the problem. Also, if you haven't already done so, please read and re-read this til it feels like your head might explode. The info it might even cover your problem.
