Changing the Time on a '04 6-SPD. 8

I've had my 8 for 3 months now, I bought it used. I noticed the time on the digital clock was wrong. I've tried changing it but I can't, every time I go to change it, the hour nor the minute would change when I press the SET button. Thanks for the help...

Press CLK again. It will cycle through different clock settings.

I have tried that several times but it still doesn't work. The CLK button works when it gives me the option of 12 hr. or 24 hr. clock but when I try to change the hours or minutes, the SET button does not work. I also tried resetting the electronics by disconnecting the battery but that didn't work either.
