Hi all

So been a proud owner of a 2007 kuro for about 2 months now and loving the car.

Recently been having an issue where after above about 4k-5k revs and the engine is hot that the sound of the revs would change to a deeper and rougher noise than the usual and I lose power.

Spoke to a Mazda specialist and he said it could be the cat clogged up and restricting airflow causing the engine to struggle and lose power.

I've got the cat off and to be honest wouldn't know what a good or bad one would look like.





If someone could give me their thoughts that would be great.
