A blinking light is ALWAYS a misfire. Replace the coils, wires and plugs. If you do not want to go that route and take it to a dealership to verify, it is your money. I would up grade to the BHR ignition as piece of mind personally. That is what I did. Fix the weak link and be done with it. Smarter not harder.

Im going to agree with hoosier on this one. No matter if the CEL stays or not, a blinking CEL is always a misfire. Im also going to agree that an upgrade to the BHR kit would be a good thing. Now if you dont want to go that route there are a few other choices such as going with the new C version coils that you can get at Mazmart or even the LS2 ignition upgrade. I myself have the BHR system and it is FAR better than stock.

For a cheap first test, pull the plugs and clean them really good, then pop them back in. If you get misfires with new clean plugs - you know it's time for a new ignition. If it goes away you can let it ride until the CEL comes back up.

Just a FYI, the BHR kit is the LS2 coil upgrade but Charles already did the wiring part so no extra adapter cable is needed.

The BHR kit is a LS2 kit and Charles makes the plug wires and mounting bracket in house. Doing it the other may save you money but the BHR kit is plug and play.

Spend the money on their mid pipe as well. Well worth the money.
