Big troubles after simple repair?

I'm not an RX owner, but I installed a new radiator in one for a friend, after a deer strike. It's an '06, and I ran into a crank no start condition after I finished. I tried the deflood procedure a few times, and it comes really close to starting, but doesn't. It initially had green coolant, I refilled system with yellow universal coolant. My first step in trying to remedy the no start, was to remove the leading plugs. Yellow coolant came out of both chambers. I'm not rotary guy, but I'm certain it has to be rebuilt, as the seals have failed. Is there something I don't know about that would allow coolant in the housings? Thanks for any responses and help.

The engine must have overheated when the radiator was damaged. The coolant seals failed and the engine must be replaced or rebuilt
