Best turbo for my 2005 rx8

I'm going to be installing a turbo on my rx8 pretty soon, I'm waiting to buy a complete setup with everything I've seen a few around but don't know the best one to install on my rx8! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

The best thing you can do is spend a lot of time reading this subforum:

Personally, I think supercharging might be better.

Is there a DIY about the super charging ? I've never even really thought about that ? How much hp will that add do you think ? More than a turbo ?

Just read trough what Steve Dallas posted. Questions that you have will be answered. And if not, then spend more time researching.

Alright Derek, if that is your real name - You seem to be missing the point here. You NEED to sit down and do some research into what needs to be done before you start working on ANY form of forced induction. The proper ancillary systems need to be in place. Tuning needs to be correct. Lord knows fueling and cooling better be correct. Personally, the theories behind the way superchargers work seem to me that they'd be better for the fact that rotaries live in the top end, or, for the most part do. Looking at the way a traditional supercharger works or something similar to that I could see a bitchin' SC set up. I want to buy one, but my wife and I just bought a new condo... so that's gonna wait.

Not sure why you would think that a supercharger is a better option on a rotary....

I think you should follow your own advise and do some research
