bent dipstick after running curb.

hey guys, so i was driving my 04 rx8 auto, and as i was getting to speed it shifted funny and jumped a bit, then spun rite out!
It ran the curb a bit backward in the snow, and went over fairly smooth, but when i pulled over to the side of the road to check the state of the wheels and alignment etc. the car stalled. Due to a hot start issue i drained the battery and had to get a boost, and she started rite up, but before that i checked the oil while waiting for it to cool down a bit, and the dipstick is pretty bent now, not sure if the dealership may have bent it when i got all the fluids flushed or if i may have dented the oil pan going over that curb. after starting her up i drove it to make sure everything else handled alright, no wobbles at speed, and the steering doesn't seem to be out in any way that it wasn't before.

Any thought as to what may have happened to the dipstick? did i dent the $*** out of the oil pan? or is it possible its alot worse?

Hmmmm, I wonder how you could check to see if your oil pan was bent? And if it is bent enough to bent the dipstick, you have bigger issues to deal with.

i looked under the car, and it doesn't appear to be dented, but how else could the dipstick get bent? it wasn't before i brought it to the dealership for a fluid change, and i hadn't checked since then on tuesday. hence my thinking the curb may have done it, but how?

I'm scared to ask, but can you post a pic of your bent dipstick?
