Back again, hello, few quick questions

Hi gang, been years since I was here.

Bought an 04 back when they were more nightmare than fun lol wound up selling it.

Now im looking to get back in and i have a line on a really cheap 2004 w 115K miles on it which im going to see tonight.

I dont want to go stir crazy looking at threads about what to do. I know the car needs a clutch no biggie my mechanic will fix it.

What I need to know from the long timers is what else do I need to have done to make sure she just runs fine.

Car details:
2004-115K miles
Needs new clutch
Been sitting for about 4 months because of this and owner just doesnt want to deal with it. No aftermarket mods etc.

My daughter will get this as a surprise so I need to know what else do I have my mechanic do, check so that I can get it into good running condition. Again not looking to mod, just bring up to date so she runs stable

Thanks guys any help is GREATLY appreciated
Lycan

To get it perfectly running I would replace the whole ignition, coils, wires, plugs. Air filter. Clean the MAF and ESS ("crank") sensors. Put an upgraded starter in if needed. Put a new/upgraded fuel pump if never replaced. Run some fuel injector cleaner through. And of course, new engine, transmission, differential oil, new coolant, annddd a sexy car wash. Should be running perfectly by then, if the compression is good.
