Purchased from a city auction an RX8. After replacing the dead batter I did the steering reset from information from this site and drove it home 6 miles.

I have several items to repair on the car that has 131396 miles on it but it's well taken care of. Again with info from this site it will make these repairs easier to tackle..THANK YA ALL for your posted information. No plans to drive it until I have totally checked and repaired these items.

I would recommend you get a rotary compression test done soon. That may help you make judgement calls as to what repairs are needed and how much money to spend on it right away.

If you're anywhere near Chicago, you can bring it by my place and I can help you out with that.

I appreciate it. It's one of the items I was going to purchase after reading comp tests here. I'm located 150 miles South of Atlanta Ga.....it would be a lo g ride to get it done there....LOL.

nobody locally touches them.
