6 port swap.

Long time listener, first time caller.

(almost) completed a 6 port 6mt swap into a donor shell.

pretty much done except ecu isn’t powering the fuel pump/ fuel system.
I know it’s the ecu because I have tried a different ecu and it sends power to he pump and charges the fuel line.

has anyone come across this problem before? The ecu worked in the donor car. Before the swap.

Did you reprogram the new ECU to the ignition key cylinder? It sounds like what you're seeing is the antitheft immobilizer.

I switched the key barrel over so the right key is communicating with the right ecu.
unless I have missed something that needs to be changed.

Hmmm. What year and trim is the car, the new ECU and the engine you're putting in?

The automatic ecu will power the fuel system but the manual transmission ecu will not, correct? If this is the case, it makes me tjing something is missing the manual trans ecu need to power the system. An input or a ground perhaps?

Having the wiring diagram would be of great use to you right now as you could compare both and see if anything is missing in an auto trans car that a manual trans car would have had.
