4g63 anyone?

Hi guys
Planning on using RX 8 subframes on my project, the car I have is a 2008 auto, body is perfect and so is the interior. engine does not run.
I only bought the car for the suspension and I have a friend that deals with the Mitsu motors, I searched on here and there is only one thread from a person in W.V, goes by the name of dacowgod that was making a kit to use a 4g63 in the RX8, have tried to reach him but no luck.
Anyways we will figure out what to do if we go that way.
I am open to opinions, ideas or general thoughts on this conversion, I will not use the rotary or rebuild it as I have no experience with it
Thanks for any info.

Haven't ever really seen or heard of a swap with that motor, definitely not one of the more common ones which include LS, SR, or F20.

I know is not very popular with the rx8 owners, there are quite a few rx7 that have done this conversion and are very happy also it has been done on th miatas with good results,
I understand that this is out of the mainstream but it all looks good as far as benefits and very small drawbacks.
It is certainly a lot more economical that some of the other swaps.
Hope someone chimes in with ideas.

I'm not certain about this, but doesn't the 4G63 spin the wrong way? In an Eclipse it sits all the way toward the left, like a Honda. In an Evo its more on the right, so I'm not super sure what's happening there, but something to check. I seem to recall something about it spinning opposite to the way the engine is meant to spin in this car.

NO all 4g63 turns clockwise it is not like some of the hondas, There was some confusion with the evo motor years ago.
Thanks for your lookout.
The more measurements I take, and trying to figure how everything should go, there is plenty of space, and I may be able to place the engine with no problem.
Again thanks for your interest.

Engine mounts

I'm planning to do the same swap on my 04 rx8 and wondering if you got the measurements for the engine mounts?
