2004 RX8 won’t crank

I’m new to this forum but I have read several others and I thought I might give this a try. I am having some problems with this car. I am an experienced mechanic when it comes to non Rotary engines!! I have a good understanding of electrical systems and pretty much every other system involved in vehicles. Having said that I am stuck!! The car has sat for at least 8 years that I know of. When I obtained the car I didn’t get any keys or key fobs. I’ve had chipped keys cut and paired to the car and I’m waiting the replacement fobs. I’ve replaced the battery, changed the oil, flushed the radiator, flushed the fuel system. Replaced multiple blown fuses including the main fuse, repaired the radio, attempted to reset the theft system cleaned the essentric crank sensor, checked the clutch position sensor, and many other non pertinent minor repairs. Now the problem, it will not crank using the key. I have taken the top off of the starter relay and can get the engine to crank doing that but I’m not getting the spark plugs to spark. I’m getting fuel and air but no spark. It appears to me that the engine is being prohibited from starting electronically from either the alarm system or antitheft system. The car cranks by bypassing the st relay but no power seems to be pushed to the spark plugs. Any advice of what else to check would be greatly appreciated.

Likely the immobilizer. Only way to get it to crank with new keys is to get them programmed by Mazda unfortunately.

Without having the original key, only Mazda or a solid automotive locksmith can help you.
