here's what is left of my new (2006) bike after my accident on halloween morning (12:30am)when a driver on a cell phone decided to make a left hand turn from the right hand lane...i was in the left lane & there was a dedicated lane for left turns to my left.



he never saw me coming through the intersection. I was lucky to survive with a broken femer (titanium plate from hip to knee with 8 screws), stiches on both elbows with the road ripping holes in my leather jacket and gloves, a bruised liver and some head & neck injury (thank god for the full face helmet). recovery is coming along well and I this has been my first full week out of the hospital and I'm getting around prettty well on crutches. no driving for several more weeks but...
I loved riding & working on my bikes for over 30 years. my motorcycle riding days are over for now. i'm looking for a new toy and have considered the following sports cars: boxster, s2000 and RX8 ...ALL MT. I like the rx8 for its design and my gf, 13yo, 11yo can all fit. the boxster is nice but cost to maintain are high and no motor to show off is a big downside. mid-engine is great design but w/no lift I don't see me geting needed wrench time.
so I got the bug for an RX8. i'd like to have a GT or shinko package and I like the idea of a stock car with relatively low milage. the 04&05 100k engine warranty seem like a sweet deal and i've read enough to understand the way this car likes to run. remember, i'm a bike guy still at heart. anyone in the pa/nj or de/md area with a low milage 04 or 05 please contact me.
would also consider going further for a great deal w/strong warrantybut carfax will be requested. we can start with the vin. i am a cash buyer

i have an 04 GT. its got 42,000. and it stock. also have a carfax. car has no record. only maint records. 2 owners and im the one. one scratch on right side. can be buffed out.

I had a full new audio system put in it. see my signature-all name brand and extremely expensive which i will leave in an add to a price or i can take it out but thats going to make me less ready to sell. lot of wrench time for a former circuit city car installer. im close to philly.

my only question is what are you looking to pay w/ and w/o audio stuff. be honest no bs please. this car is dear to me so its hard even posting.
