does the grom work with an 04 non bose head unit? does it charge newer ipods? does it work with the steering wheel controls?

 

honestly im not so sure i know it works with the 3.5mm jack so i know it doesnt charge and its not controlled thru HU. i had the bose system and its been over yr and half since i no longer had my rx8 (hence the cleaning out) lol
