They would have coens set up (Autocross) where if you hit cones, they add time to your final time for every cone hit. THey will be giving away prizes every hour for those with top points.

I have an e-mail out to find out more... but for a free event, don't expect much.

11/5 12:30p NY. All those autox experiences better count for something! Also Evo School on 8/20, so plenty of time to practice what bxb40 and I will be learning.

Imp,
I will be sure to stop by to witness your spectacular run and hopefully some pointers/tips if you will.

Imp,
Congrats on your recent T2 finish in NE Div.
Damn, that must be me fom the future going back in time! I've never been on a road course! (1st track day this oct tho) You got the wrong fella. However, I'd be more than willing to give pointers on the 5th.

You wouldn't be running your car. All cars are being provided by Mazda. You drive theirs.

Be there when they open, probably 7 or 8am, and you can look around. Also, you can watch others with earlier start times and maybe pick up some pointers. If they have similar setup to RevItUP there are skill tests and chalk talks PRIOR to your run times. Some are mandatory and if your card isn't punched, you don't drive the course. And as was said, it's not your car.:D

With the different courses they mention, I would expect people will be spending much more time at the event trying to do everything than in the past for RevItUP where the autocross was the only real challenge.

Imp,

Sorry about the mix-up, I was confusing you with clyde at http://solo.wdcr-scca.org/results/nediv.php#BS. Just realized what KC stands for from www.ner.org. Embarassing aside, look forward to meeting you. I actually though about tracking all the way from North NJ to your local events in MA to pay tutelage, LOL. There is limited interest by proven winners running RX-8 in solo2 in NJ, unfortunately.

So like I said I'll be heading up to the Mass event on Saturday. I'll be coming up from RI. And don't really know how to get to the event. So if anyone wants to meet at a point and head up together let me know. If not it looks like mapquest will direct me.

I am in the process of using a lease swapping service to transfer the car to another owner. We are buying a new house in a few weeks, and the new payments are high,so something has to go.I only have 12 months left on the lease, and I am way under the miles, but I can save close to if not more than $500 a month between the $309 payment, insurance, and fuel,so it makes sense to unload it.I don't want to get rid of the car, because I love it so much, but the house is more important to us right now.See you there anyway, maybe I will bring the REPU.

if you guys went to RevItUp last year in Boston you may have seen the proteges and a few RX8s lined up by the entrance. That was a little NEPOC meet and we are planning another one for Saturday at ZoomZoomLive this year.

I will post more info as the date gets closer and as we figure some things out but keep us in mind if you are planning on going....the more mazdas the merrier

Details and registration at Zoom Zoom Live

I wonder about having NY and DC in November, though.
Carl,
A few of us from Hampton Roads (Virginia Beach Area) are going up on Sunday the 13th. There are so far for sure 3 8's and 2 7's running up together. As of now we are registered for 12:30 that Sunday.
Not sure how it could be done... but maybe our crew could meet up with yours and we all pull in together showing a stronger VA support for the event. I am sure many more of our owners will register by then.
check out www.hr8c.com and email us if you would like to try and organize a meet up before the event.
