UPDATE TIME!!!!!
So for those that have watched this thread here and there here is an update as of today.

Today I had the meeting with the adjuster, nice NJ middle age woman accent wheeling and all. She started out with the this is what I am going to do speach, this is the shop we have lined up... BLAH BLAH BLAH. After she got done with her 2 minute speach I pulled the three documents, pre-estimates, shop quotes and the parts and shipping paperwork out and told her thank you very much for the option of her shops but...
This is a custom job. custom piece, japan spec and only avaliable there, and this is the shop that I have lined up to do the work and then informed her they were the ones that installed it and that is the reason for this choice.

Well this went well until I hand her a sheet with japanese script across the top followed by jananese yen and english conversion to the right of it. This was met with confusion then the infamous question: This is the cost of the bumper shipped???. Then thats when I point out that she is looking at the wrong line, the line she was looking at was the cost of the bumper alone.
I point 2 lines down at the total price and saw her just about choke.
Needless to say she told me I was crazy for spending this much on a car body in her opinion however Nationwide Insurance does recognize and accept full responsibility and then she and I worked through the labor and paint then settled on a starting estimate check that I am to recieve in a few days, with the gurantee that if anything isn't covered by this amount then they will go to the shop and handle the rest personally.
So far I have nothing negative to report of this isurance company and all in all I am very happy thus far. If you are going to get smacked by somebody I recomend as of now that they have NATIONWIDE.

BTW you're lucky, most of my experience with insurance companies has been bad. One unreported performance mod could cancel your policy.

Philly drivers are pretty bad, but Massachusetts drivers are the worst I've ever encountered.

OK OK update is on.
The batmobile is in the shop and was dropped off at AMMATO'S Collision body shop. It sounds like good news all on the up and up. I am looking at not having my baby for about 2 weeks as the current bumper is going to reworked and reinforced, fiberglassed etc. inside and out. needless to say I have my fingers crossed and I am hoping that repairing it now for a savings in buying new won't come back and bite me in the ***.


I am hoping that everything stays on the up and up. when I get the baby back I am looking into the hood and light guards and the I will be ready to prowl the streets.

Well I am still planning on coming out to play on my way up to Long Island to spend the new year with family and the Mr. Bacardi

I am either going to take my jeep or I am going to be renting another car maybe a mazda but not sure yet.

Hey boys! Watch what you say about those Philly Soccer mom's!! I happen to be one and we're not ALL horrible!! And like others have said... at least she didn't just drive off. Stopping and fessing up to hitting your 8 really isn't the Philly way! (Is she from out of town?) lol But sorry to hear about ur car and I hope ur 8's doing better!!!
