I don't know chris. It says 50% chance of rain all day. I think there will be some rain at the event but it may not be for long. I am going to get there early to help set-up and try and rope off as many spots as I can.

I hope so man. I have been working around the clock to get my car ready for this event. The rain this week didn't allow me to detail the car the way I wanted but it should look good. I was up late finishing off some minor stuff to it and I am good to go. I will be leaving my house around 8:15 - 8:30am to get there by 9am. Right now the list is about 25 cars. I am very happy with this turn-out. I hope everyone shows up and is not afraid of the rain.

 

We're leaving now, and should be there by 10!

 

Just got off the phone with Wayne Mazda. Everything is still good to go. They are going to put a couple fo cars in doors as well just incase but everyone over there is hoping the rain holds up.

Hi guys thanks for all the info you gave me at the meet today. It was cool to see some 8s there all hooked up, for those that didnt meet me today I have a 05 black rx-8 stock I just bought a month ago. I dont know much about cars or much about my 8 but I had to have it when I saw it for the first time at the car show in NY a few years ago. Anyway I just wanted to say thanks to the guys who took the time to talk to me...

 

fearless it was a pleasure meeting you, along with the 3mta3 and justin that supra is so beyond sexy....i almost crashed into the divider looking at the thing on the way home!....kel dont be late tomorrow and the ms kit is hot as sin!...james bring your CF 8 to rotorfest pleeeeeeeze!!....uclead even got his car modded at the meet!....any one know where the hell flyboi was??....i did park next to you bro!!....and where were all the others that said they were coming?....you guys missed some damn good bbq!!....some one put up pics!

 

I have a couple of pics but I know TSopranoIS300 took some. Yea chris i saw u almost miss the exit. I was only doing 1/2 throttle and keeping under 4K RPM. I am going to open up the car on the highway soon and see how she holds. I appreicate the kind words.

Fearless, it was good to meet you and welcome to the tuner world. As you do research, you will learn so much more about the car and where you want to go with yours. Wait till the modifciation bug bites you. you won't stop. Just remember, there is no such as a stupid question. you can only learn by asking.

 

was a pleasure as always, my third wayne mazda show, never once yet to bring my car (IS300) but, nice to see everyone again....good BBQ too, props to Wayne Mazda, Justin, and everyone else, especially to Harold from AcostaMotorsports to bring the RX7 with the Skyline RB26 !!!!! see ya all next year, I promise with my Turbo IS300! haha

hey, where is everyone meeting tomorrow for the caravan to rotorfest.

 

It was a good show...Having the car only 3 months, it was great to see the possibilities. I picked up a few ideas that I may use in the coming months. If I only my pockets were as deep as my ideas. But I guess that's the way it always is

The Chrysler 300M got third place in the show
The White Mazda 6 with the painted hood got 2nd place (won 1st place last year)
The Blue Protege Wagon got 1st

I thought James' car looked much better than all three, but I wasn't a judge

 

Trimmed in Swarovski crystal, this car was bling, bling....

 

we aint going there with jameses car.....i think he so got jerked......did the judges even know he was entered in the show??

 

I dont think he was ever considered because he was considered a guest at the show for Mazda. I don't know, plus it was like it was SEMA or HIN. Signing in was also for the raffle which I provided a Jada Toy Die-Cast RX-8 Model. I left before the raffle but I will find out who the winners were on Monday.

When I got home, not 10 minutes later when the garaged closed, it began to pour with thunder and lightning. I guess I left at a good time.

i must admit you helped throw a hell of a party there!...shame on you to those who said you were coming and didnt!....food was great, people were great and you missed a good one.....NOW TOMORROW I EXPECT NO LESS THAN 100% ATTENDANCE!!!
