Ok boys and girls.....there has been some discussion lately about changing the meet date to Friday to accomodate the crowd who can no longer meet on Tuesday nights.....this means the only thing that will change will be the day of meetings and not the time or place......im gonna cross post this on 7club as well to see if this will impact them too......the 7 guys have been showing in force and i do not want to alienate any of them.....so lets feel free to discuss and get a general concensus on what is best for the majority of people......if you disagree please open your mouth!

i'm just one person but friday is definitely out of the question for me on a week to week basis..

 

Fridays probably aint great for me either. Tuesdays are perfect although I have been MIA for a lil while. I think maybe either keep Tuesdays or either move it to Wednesday or Thursday.

 

tuesdays arent IDEAL but i dont mind them.. id prefer wednesday tho...

im with alzor on friday.. it would depend on week to week basis.. tues or wed would be good cuz i can plan things around it...

I think friday would be better for me, so thats what I voted for.

 

lol why am I the only one who voted for "Hell NO"? Friday is mostly a no-no for me b/c I'd plan to do other things (that's already a weekend by my count!). Wed. or Thurs. can work though.. can we have more choices in the poll???

 

im just putting it out there cuz it was discussed on tuesday......seems like every one is happier with it being tuesday than friday.....so far

I appreciate it really but yes i do feel like friday is the best day.

I know some of you people might mention traffic but when the meet starts at 8, with ALOT of people dropping in past 9 anyway, i dont see traffic as a problem. With the weekend next door, i think its the best for alot of others who want to come but decide not to because of work early the next day.

I get up at 4-430 every morning but i still try to make it to the meets now as much as i can.

Idk, whoever works a saturday doesnt really have a "real" job.

But i dont want to be selfish. If people want to keep it tuesday, thats fine.

But i say we keep this poll open for like a month and when the final votes are counted, whatever is superior, we really leave it like that. Whether its a friday or still a tuesday.

I just wanted some input on the subject.

From a technical point, ALOT of high paying jobs are a mon-fri 9-5 basis, with the weekends off.

OBVIOUSLY there are jobs which require working on saturdays. You work for a bank? Nice, my credit union is open on saturdays as well. Theres your defense.

Im basically referring to the people who work at those "high school jobs". Not really dissing them. I mean you need to make money one way or another.

I was just saying friday night is the best day. Last work day, and you wanna relax. Plus its the start of the weekend so that was a good day.

Well when i said that, the people who are guilty of it will know im talking to them. For the people who have "real" jobs, shouldnt get defensive about it.

And i dont work for a credit union, im part of a credit union for the past 8 years.
