Took some pics at work today with my FC

Well i took my RX7 to work today and took some pics. Just wanted to share with you guys.

I work on Governors Island its about 400 yards from the Souther Tip of Manhattan. It use to be an army base which protected NY from the british and later beacme a Coast Guard Installation. IT was abandoned in 1996 and was left to the dogs. Now they are fixing it up for the residents of NY.

Im trying to hold a NYRA meet on GI for next summer. This will be an exclusive meet.

THis is in front of Castle Willams. The name speaks for itself

Over Looking the southern tip of Manhattan / Financial District

Yo chris you get to GI by taking a special ferry (not open to the general public during the week). Its located right next door to Staten Island Ferry.

They have National Park Service tours but thats only 22% of the island i have 100% access.

But anywhooo im trying to get this spot for next year

Yes it is a unique spot. I have to beg my boss and the owner. Im working it in there. Unforunately the meet will only be for a few guys like 15 at most. To make sure we dont have any issues and if everything goes well. Then we can potentially hold bigger meets.

So your on the elite list dont worry (you too kel)

Great pictures. Got one question about your car. Red paint is the least stable color paint. How do you think your color has held up? It looks original. I got to drive a friends FC a long time ago and his was red but color memory does not last very long and I don't remember if it was bright red or more of an orangish red.

hhhahah its a trickery lol. MY car is Orangish red on certain portions of the car. What i do is that i try not to take pics in direct sunlight but when the sun is low but low enough that its dark lol.

Its all trickery i tell you. MY paint is okay compared to other FCs. I had the car for like 5 years now, the owners before the guy i got if off had it garaged for a long time. The husband died and the wife didnt touch it.

Car had 76k when i bought it now it has 83k woohoolol

My brother used to own one, 88 GXL i think, thats when i first learned about rotary engines.
He sold it cause apex seals were going from what i understand, i wanted to but it from him but at that time i had no dough and no real job but then again i was like 15-16 at that time.
BTW Nice looking car man
