Synaptic 3 Engineering

Yesterday I starting seeing the neat new banner ad by Synaptic 3 Engineering on the top forum banner. Although the link to them doesn't work ( ) they not suprisingly exist at http://www.synaptic3.com/

Did a quick foum search, nothing about them. They saying they are a authorized Pettit Enginneering dealer plus their awesome list of services (mentioned in the flying words in their banner) is something to behold considering their location

Candia NH !! <--- near Manchester

and some of the Pettit's rotary enhancements potentially available shortly. This could be something wonderful for us performance starved folks here abouts ... a real rotary speedshop in our backyward. Their site has lots of pics of gutted out cars, roll cages, etc., no sign of Pettit anything - although they say **site under construction**.

Does any member belong to them, have experience with them, know their work? I've gotta give them a call next week, but talk about out of the blue

NH sweeeet... I seen their add but as you stated the banner link wasnt working at all. Guess now we all have a local (to some) rotary tuner shop (in the works I assume?). On the plus side if/when I have enough dough for the S/C Pettit is releasing I know were to go to have it installed and tuned properly.

Synaptic Visit

Spent a few hours with the kind folks at Synaptic Engineering today. My10ae, Clavius and I all got a tour of the facility from Dana, Ron, and Aaron as well as a description of the cars currently in the shop. They've done a lot of work with Subies and many other makes, but are rotarheads at heart as you can see by the RX-7 project car and the fact they are an Authorized Petitt Dealer.

Don told us how they had been working with Pettit for 10 or was it 15 yrs (can't remember - a long time anyway) and now that they have established themselves here in NH, and have their shop setup, they're eager to develop business from the RX-8 community, esp. with the SC planned to arrive sometime soon. They are the ONLY other Pettit Racing dealer there is - so we are blessed to have them in our backyard!

They're true technical experts, with lot's of ability to create parts, fabricate most anything, build roll cages, setup cars anyway someone might want. They charge an hourly rate and will do most any type of mod work. For myself it looks like the place to get my coilovers installed, along with corner-weighting, among other things.

A great afternoon. Thanks Synaptic

Thanks Guys!

Sweet I was thinking about going by there, there is also Widefoot Racing up in Hillsboro, he specializes in RX-7's tho. What all do they offer? I have the RX-7 race car that I am building, the Delorean (possibly rotary powered) and the 8.

Oh yeah reminder for myself 'cause I'll forget again
Compression Test next month (if money/time allows that is).

Oh and Kev and the rest of the crew down at S3
Filled up my tank before I left for your place
11.203 Gallons of Gas
93.4 Miles
8.337miles per gallon! (this tank was 85% City 15% Highway)

So yeah I'm one of the lower mpg cars why I wanna check the compression if its outa spec for what the recall calls for I'm gonna bring the printout and any type of documentation you guys can make stating the engine is messed to 'em. 'cause as Kevin said "there has to be something up with your car."

OMG, the Lord has answered my prayers!! If they are all you guys say they are, they will be getting some cash from me this summer to adjust my coilovers and corner weigh. I also want to get the car looked over for any major issues (hit 78k miles before it went to sleep for winter).

Clavius - that is way way low for a stock car (engine wise right?). What has the dealer said about that mpg?

I'm going to have to get some good tracking in this summer, i might not be here in 2008, Seattle is calling me.

Synaptic 3

No problem guys,
I am glad we could help...and we are excited to have a great Rx-8 community here in NE. FYI I spoke with Cam today and the Superchargers should be in stock within the next few weeks!!! We will also have the Air intake, radio ****, and ProtekR on the shelf among other things.

Best Regards,
Dana
