Okay then. I will try to work it out. More likely it would be on a Saturday sometime in about 1-2 months. However, I would hate to try and get something let this together with a dealership and people bomb out like many times in the past.

Not to lay anything on anyone, but the hell is up with some of these other owners out here? I run into a few and no "hey oh" or wave, nothing. lol, anyway. I just never had such a group so different from my past vehicles.

Anyhow, sounds fair enough. I will start working on this. But I do need to see more people interested. Spread the word to your buddies, etc.

For a update on the dealer meet, haven't heard a thing about it lately. Not really sure whats going with it. I can tell you that there is a big car meet every Wed night at the Giant off of the intersection of 210 and 228. I've think I ran into a few people, Foxy I have been giving out your cards for Ace's & 8. I think I only have about one or two left, if you want you could send me some more. (sending pm)

So is anyone here going to Wed night here. Waldorf/Indian Head area.

Please do not do burn outs in the parking lot or leave trash. Charles County kicked us out of our old spot because of this, so we would like to stay on PGs good side. OKay I realize I am a year late, but is anyone still in the Waldorf area? Do you still meet on Wednesday nights? Just curious.

I have seen a BB on Boston St. at the Safeway parking lot not long ago (is that you? )... There is also a Baltimore/Towson thread just search for it.. they have local meetings (which i haven't been able to attend ).. If you see a Titanium Gray w/ a Delaware tag is me

Also, yeah that market place in Waldorf is not bad for meeting.. but it is kinda far from baltimore (at least for me) I commute everyday from Baltimore to Greenbelt for work ... and I have been into the Waldorf area heh .. just keep ppl posted in here and I'll try to make to one of the meetings..

 

Greenbelt, I work in Lanham when I'm not traveling. Drove my 8 today to show off the new Magnaflow system. I'm up for a meet sometime, I'm heading to the May 4th meet in college park for the afternoon. I imagine I'll meet most of everybody there.

 

Ok, Let go ahead and set something up. What is the best day of the week for everyone? I would prefer Waldorf since the market place has a number of places to park and good places to eat. Famous Daves, Starbucks, California Tortilla (my favorite), Three Brothers, Noodles and Company. Do you guys mind coming down this way? Mike and I would bring both the NG and the VR for this.

 

J2R, saw your post in the MD people, figured I would post here. I'm a new 2005 Shinka owner, and I would be up for a gtg sometime. I live in Columbia, so not terribly near Waldorf etc, but for a big enough event I could be convinced to drag myself out.

 

Congrats on your Shinka! I would enjoy taking a look at another one it's been awhile.

Yeah Columbia is bit of a hike. ^_^ I am sure we could fix that. I know of a cool spot that has a go kart place. I went there one time to meet up with some Integra people.

Weekends are good or a Friday after work? Went to the College Park meet today, ton's of cars, I didn't like the way everything was laid out, there were cars everywhere and not sectioned off like I thought they would be.

I left out around 2:30 and saw a few RX 8's pulling into the main lot on my way out, I had to park in the lower back up in the woods lot...

 

ADVMYTH, did you have a Autobot sticker on your rear window? I came in with the big group, but parked by you in the woods lot for a little while before getting a spot to join back up with the main group.

 

YEP, as a matter of fact you and your daughter were just leaving my car when I was on my way back to it. Of course I didn't know who you were until I saw you get into your Red 8 and it appeared as if we both had enough and were heading out.
