Hey guys... I'm waiting to hear back on getting a job at EWR up north but I'll be moving to Staten Island, NY and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for service on my car and what places to steer clear of? I think I saw a dealership on Staten Island that was primarily Mitsubishi but didn't look too much into it. I don't mind drive a little bit but not further than 45 mins away. Any suggestions? Also, was going to see how many other 8 owners are up in this area. I saw 2 RX8s while I was in town over 4 days so I'm sure there are some on here that hang out in that area.

I live out here in Staten Island along with a couple of other 8 owners. Nice to see another 8 will be cruising the streets lol. Also, the dealer you saw was Manfredi Mazda/Mazda on Hylan Blvd. and my advice is to stay away from them! I always hear horror stories about that place. For a dealership, go to Wayne Mazda in Wayne, NJ. It's a bit of a trip (About an hour), but it's worth it. The guys are great! And as chris said, all the S.I. guys go to Jersey to hang with the other owners, which is mainly in east rutherford on tuesdays.

 

I haven't heard a good thing from any of the dealers from the five boroughs. Nothing but complaints and even law suits against them.
