Momentum Keeps Me Going
Yea that was a great, if HOT day! Sorry I missed you guys out there. I-2 was better for me, I was consistently in the top 3 or 4 out front cars, occasionally lapping the pack with them as a group and diving into to the tail end. It just took a lot, lot longer to get there than before :D
Difference between this time and last is I was passing most everyone in I-1, but here I was having more fun not passing but simply driving as fast as possible and dicing it out with a G35 on Yoko R compounds and a feisty little red Miata, plus there was this fellow with a big ugly stock car who was sorting the thing out, and he eventually got it straightened out enough to get past - I think it was in the 3rd run. But generally we were all nearly evenly matched and just occasionally swapped places and chased each other around.
Best parts were I got my line dialed in better than before, I adjusted my sways and tire pressures to make the car a tail-out slot car.... And I got it all on tape for further study....Oh the joy of it all !!!! :D

Rammstein is an excellent driver. Him and I had a lot of fun going back and forth.
Now for the fun part! While trying to pinch inside a not very nice driver in an Audi S4 coming out of turn 2, I stepped the rear end out and went into a sideways skid on the straight between turns 2 and 3. It was actually not bad at all, the car handled it beautifully and came to a very predictable stop and position. Replacing the rear sway bar without replacing the front one proved to be detrimental to overall performance. I had to turn DSC back on at one point because the backend was so loose. Still a great day and I learned a lot.
Oh yes, MPG for the track day, about 6.5 average. If anyone needs hosting for pics or vids, let me know.

I also noticed that at the end of the day the rear end was getting loose. I also spun out at the end of the day and it was not bad at all. I dont have the advantage of DSC like you guys. I think i am going to get a set of teck R tires to see if it will help.
