Hahaha! Have you guys seen the "rifling" widget that goes into the intake as well? Its supposed to spin the air like the rifling in a gun barrel. There's another one for motorcycles. Basically, its a cooling fan (for a PC tower!) with the wires cut off. The arguemnt goes...the air passes the passive blades and creates a VORTEX! Hahaha. I guess this supercharger guy just took it a step further.

Sad thing is, some guys--there is a thread here "What not to do to your car"--will actually keep this "inventor" in business!

Yeah ive seen those things on TV. I remember seeing one that claimed you get like 5+ MPG and more HP at the same time. Ya know I am no mechanic but usually when you make more HP that requires more air and FUEL but hey I'm blonde...what do I know LOL.

Maxx, I said at the beginning of this post that I would be willing to test it and post results. If you can find someone in DC/VA/MD areas that can donate dyno time I will buy the darn thing. Hell if this thing can really produce 1LB of boost I will dress in DRAG and do the Macarena (sp) and post it here in the forum! <--- Yeah something like that

Bwaahahaha! One pound, huh, Landon? If you (we) are wrong, you gotta post the Macerena thing on here! But yeah, that sounds like a cool experiment. My concern is similar to what someone else here posted. If it should snap, debris is going straight down the throat of the intake. The thing is made of plastic, even, no? If you ever do get this sorted...I'm dying to know the results. Please post an update when avail.? Good thread! This is the stuff that makes me love this club!

Read up on a guy that was making electric superchargers that actually work - he made them for small motors that had no turbo kits available .
Was asked about Rx8 & he said there is no way he could make one capable of the airflow an 8 requires.

just had another thought - if you made a y branch off your intake & installed this thing on one side of the y - it just might do something . Won't be any boost but maybe it could reduce the vacuum ???????

I dont think debree would do anything because of the air screens on my MS intake. If something did break off I think that the 2 of them would stop them cold but I could be wrong...

Works alright for ppl who enjoy the smell of melting wire insulation when switching on their 15watt Supercharger

I'm removing my GT30/40 right away. I wish someone has shown me this intake blower before I spent US$8K on a complicated turbo system.

Hook up a couple of them bridge them down to 1 Ohm to increase the wattage going to them.

Might end up like this hard drive: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yISqCAnROh8
