I am new to the forum and actually just joined up with the tristate club earlier this week. Gonna try to make it down for the meet this sunday and look forward to meeting some of you there. Just figured I'd post a message up here to let you all know I was coming

I might see you there, I'm thinking about going but my tires are kinda bald, but I drive it hard still and it holds up fine around here on the pkwy.

 

yay my wife said i could go :D ...just gotta drop her off at her moms tomorrow and then im good to go....exit 11 rest stop on the south side of the turnpike is perfect....any one else goin?.....04rx?.....xdrian?

 

Just to let you all know, the planned route may change due to some bridge closings, however our stops will be the same. Lets see what everyone thinks on the day.

Chris, sent ya a PM! And am glad that things finally worked out . Now just remember (and this goes to everybody with gf/wife) to call at every stop points that we make, so they feel that we care bout them :p 10:45-11 at exit 11 sounds good to me, now just gotta go and change my oil and wash my car a lil' bit.

Anyone from NY meeting up before Core Creek to ride?

 

I joined a coupla weeks ago and'll be coming down from Allentown. Looks like PA Turnpike (I 476) S to I 276 E to US1, less than 1 1/2 hours total. Anyone else heading the same way?

 

Hey Brian, Chrism and I are meeting up at a resting place at exit 11 on the NJTP around 1045-11 am. I'll be going from bklyn though, instead of queens (stupid verrazzano bridge...$9.00 *grumble*)

What's a good time to arrive at the park (Core Creek)? I assume we're *leaving* the park at 12:45, yes?

Are we gonna park again at Washington's Crossing, or just regoup and head north?

Just curious when/where the best photo op's will be...

some one from down there pm me before 930am with your number just in case we get lost...i wrote the directions down but im paranoid and dont wanna waste gas by running around in circles....especially since we all know how our gas mileage is :D :p :D

 

Oh, I don't touch the turnpike at all to get there.. Ijust go over the Tacony Palmyra bridge. The bridge is 15 minutes from my house.. heh

I'm coming from NY but running late, is there a second meeting spot after you guys meet up at Core Creek? Let me know what the first stop is please and I'll catch up with you guys there.

 

I think the 2nd meet spot is Washington Crossing Park, around 12:50.

Thanks for turning up today. Was alot of fun! I did not expect it to be that busy in New Hope, but none the less, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

I'll have our site updated in the next few days, so if you have any great photos to share, please send them in!

Good meeting everyone today and had a fun drive even with New Hope and the roads being packed... we'll see everyone at the next meet.

Wayne- got seperated form you all on the way to Isaac Newton's and stuck behind someone going 30mph all the way up 29, so ended up there a little late and stayed for a half hour or so and had a few drinks but never saw you and didn't have a number to call

WHERE THE HELL WAS WOODBOURNE RD?!?!?!?!?!

I drove up and down rt 413 for like half an hour and didn't see the damn park! So I went up to new hope myself and saw 2 rx8's there, but neither were with the club.

 

was great meeting all of you guys....my buddy matt is putting the pics on a cd for me so i will link them here and send you pics wayne....i had hella fun....love all the looks we got rolling 14 deep on those roads in pa...gambit we got lost too (me and chino) but we stopped and asked for directions...i got some ideas of the new toys i gotta convince the wife to get me...cd rotors, braided lines, strakes and eyelids.....gambit we saw the 2 8's parked too...we were parked in the next lot up from there...took the hill from hell...cant wait to do this again!....but i need more mods :D

 

Wow, what a great group of people. I had a blast today and can't wait to do it again. Being a newbie I wasn't sure what to expect. Thanks to everyone for making today such a success!
