man that did look like a big turnout. didn't know something like this happenned. i actually haven't seen that many rx8's driving around town. you might of seen me in my 05 pearl white gt. i'll have to make it out to one of these shindigs. any rx8'er take 'em out on mountain trips or anything??

Your in japan wow can you get some jdm parts for my rx8 or for my sc430.

 

JDM parts don't exsist anymore, they are all made in China.

Haha thats funny. But cant all rx8's rev to 10k thats why i came up with the name.

 

With 9K being over in Japan, and no longer having an RX-8, I'm not sure how often he checks this forum.

 

So i guess he cant get the parts thats ok im thinking of trading in my rx8 anyway. Still have the sc430 and my wife traded her lx470 in a few months ago for a cayenne turbo not a bad ride.

 

Lots of JDM parts are actually manufactured in China, and more and more are made in China now because of the labor cost in Japan.

 

But he can still by them at a dealer or can someone recomend me to a site where i can buy some oem jdm parts for the rx8 and the sc430.

Don't get to this board much.

But, just like Hanzo said, due to the increased manufacuting costs in Japan, all the major tuner shops and large manufacturers either outsource their work to China, or have factories in China producing parts.

What is left though, is prototyping. Parts are prototyped here, or parts for raceing applications are alive and well here though. I have had the privelage to see a lot of that here.

JDM is just a brand, name and image. Mass produced parts are not done a large sclae here in Japan anymore.

I just want the parts to convert my sc430 into a soarer and i also want the clear corners and automatic climate control for the rx8. Is there a place someone can refer me that can get these parts for me.
