Reputable Shop in New York metro area?
Sup guys, just got my 8 on Saturday and I am looking for a reputable shop to do little things to my car here and there. Just wondering if anyone has recommendations? I don't mind paying for good shops, but don't want to get robbed either.
Things I am looking to do sometime starting in May...
[Car is an 09 R3.]
I'd like to install a big brake kit - I think it would complement the R3 rims perfect.
Once I learn to move the car better (having trouble adjusting from my GLi) I'd like to get a lighter flywheel setup + pulleys?
Nicer Intake setup - does the original Mazdaspeed one fit?
Things I want to do immediately (Licensed/Insured shop only!)
Minor audio upgrade - just replace stock speakers with some Alpine R's and add a subwoofer. Nothing extravagant.
Here is a pic of the two together.

Any recommendations?

since you have the money ... go online and buy some sound proofing ... I used this ...
http://www.fatmat.com/bulk/megamat/100.html
HUUUUUGGGEEE difference!!! I had amps , etc... afterward I just swapped out the rears with some alpine 3 ways and kept one of the 1080 boxes and of course new highs. sounds great.
Unless your looking for like a full indash nav setup -- some one is selling a faceplate in the FS section ... snag it.
As an added benefit, I can have a conversation with someone in my car because I have a greddy sp2 / ap pipe combo.
As far as audio installer -- Id steer clear of anyone in NYC!!! they are all crooks! Your best be is to travel to NJ or PA. Give a friends address, I don't trust anyone after I was robbed a few years back by guys who installed my alarm and ran wires for my amps ... Now I do everything myself.
There is some one out on long island .... he hangs out at churches a lot ... function 7 -- ive seen some of his work on a few 7s and it was superb.

Yeah, I got burned on my old Civic. I ended up with a nice system after I got eveything working though. (Had a nice Memphis Belle amp pushing 400x2 Kicker Comps, Alpine R's all around being pushed by a decent Rockford amp, 50x4)
Had a nice thump to it.
I want to keep my car looking stock -- I had a friend of mine simply replace his stock speakers with some cheap Alpine S (I am not a fan) and he just wanted a bazooka (ugh) and his car came out sounding really nice.
I want to go with at least a W7, and some Alpine R's pushed by JL or something similar. I am just looking for a fully license/insured shop to do it.
Anyone know of any big brake kits for the RX-8? And does the regular Mazdaspeed CAI work in an R3? I just want to get some small things done for now...
