Hello, Im from Virginia beach, im planning to get a rx8 maybe by may of next year, but ive been visiting some local dealerships,
Hall Mazda, and they got rx8's going for like 32-37k's......o_O

So if u know some good dealerships with good low price, let me know, thanx

 

If you don't mind traveling a bit, you might want to check with the dealer I bought my 8 from, Berglund Mazda in Salem, VA (near Roanoke, at the other end of the state from you). PM me if you want more info.

 

Whitten Brothers in Richmond sold me mine. They were very easy to deal with. My limited experience with their parts department has been positive too, much more positive than the parts department of the dealer closer to me, which will remain nameless.

 

how much did ya pay for your rx8's in those dealerships??

 

Capitol Mazda in Richmond was also pretty decent- unlike Loco, I had a TERRIBLE experience with Whitten, though it sounds like it was just the sales guy (Charlie Brown) causing the problems. I haven't used the service department enough yet to know how they are. I paid MSRP, but I had mine three week after they hit the states, and ordered way back in February. I'm sure you can talk any dealer down a bit now.

 

Well, Elara, I can't say I'm surprised you had a bad experience with Whitten. They seem like a high volume type dealership, and I was actually surprised by how well they treated me.

I got mine for $250 off MSRP, which at the time was a pretty good deal (remember those days? :D ). They had originally marked the car up $2500 over MSRP. And they gave me by far the best price on my trade-in of any dealer I went to. My salesman was very nice, too, even called to make sure I got home OK the night I bought the car (I live about 2 hrs from Richmond).
