I'd like some help from you guys. Recently, I found a nice screw deep and tight in my rear driver tire (Ray, Kevin, Jusuf, and Al can attest to that). Now, I have the Dunlop OEM runflats. I have no idea how long this nail has been in the tire, but I've had no issues with it.

However! I don't want to leave the nail in there. So I can either patch up that tire, or get new tires. I would MUCH more prefer to patch the tire, as I only put 6k on the tires and I really can't afford new tires.

So my question is - will it honestly be bad to just patch it up and run to Deals with my Dunlops? Since they are runflats, I do not fear a blowout. The place I bring it to for patching is pretty good at it. However, if any of you guys with more experience think it's a bad idea to do this, I'll go get the Ventus.

 

that sucks, i say patch or plug it. it should hold up fine. my plug held up for a few months and thats only because the spot i had a nail puncture was in a terrible spot where the sidewall meets the tread.
