If it's the big parking lot in Flushing, then it's between 138th street and Union, and 37th/39th ave.

I hope that's the one you people are talking about.. unless you mean the College Point theatre. I don't think there's another big parking lot besides those two.

 

THe meet is on college point under the highway... I don't think I'm gonna go back to the longisland meet at islandia no more... Only like 7 cars showed up..:-( but I'll see you guys tonight:-)

 

On college point under the highway? Gimme a landmark, because that's sort of vague. Do you mean the little strip mall parking lot near that bowling hall?

That's a pretty good place actually, there's food, food, and more food. And I need to check radio shack for something anyways.

douglaston plaza movie i think is a hot meet spot. I think theres a mazda 3 meet every thursday there too i thinkkkk. every time im there thursday nights i see a whole buncha mazda 3s and other cars

 

Could also mean that shopping area across the Whitestone Expressway from the movie theatre. Which is the same exit, just the opposite side of the theatre.

About the parking situation.

When i got to the meet the last thursday there were 2 of those securuty guys. one guys shift was ending and hes the one who said i couldnt park there but i explained to him what we were doing and he said it was fine but that we needed to find another spot for the next 2 weeks.

the other security guard who just started his **** was cool. i explained how we just meet up and chat about cars etc etc and he seemed more than happy to let us stay there and continue to.

so if anything id advise people to show up a little after 9pm.

and the thing about lot 3 is that its always packed. most lots are always packed.

which is why i chose our current spot.

also if u drive past the usual spot theres another parking lot just like it except the highway is lower to the ground. im not sure if thats also being used for the tennis thing going on.

and unfortunately im not gonna be at the meet till about 11pm.

 

im pretty sure were gonna have people in a whole bunch of different lots now. lol

How about if someone does me a favor and goes to the lot a little after 9pm and see if its clear or talk to the security personnel there??? you can drop my name although ive only spoken to two security guards who were cool and let us stay.

but id really appreciate it if someone did me this favor because i know if we pick another spot its gonna be chaos and theres gonna be rotaries drivin all over the place looking for the spot and then no one will show up next time cause theyll be frustrated. lol

 

Noodle, where is this lot? I'm looking back and forth in this thread for the "landmark" that Youwonder said you posted. What's it near?

I can probably get there around 9 and hang till 10 (I'm an early sleeper =x)

 

what landmark??? i think youwonder is talking about the usual spot. i think he assumed somebody was just askin where the usual spot is.

Sorry guys i wouldn't be coming by tonight, it's my bday. And my wife doesn't want me spending tonight with a bunch of guys with small engines called a roatry.she wants to take me out for dinner and then wants me to start her engine all night long...i have alot of driving to do...peace my peeps.. The douglastin plaza is about 5 exits further on the lie from the original kiseena spot I think the exit is called douglaston. There's an upper level with bk, toysrus, modells, Macys you must have passed it once in your life
