Close call today. I can't believe the State Trooper let me off with a verbal. It was one of those mornings where it seemed like there was a task force assigned to annoy me at every turn. Cement mixers, slow drivers, people generally doing really stupid **** in front of me.

Finally I decided to jump off 93S at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree and hop up over the Blue Hills via Chickataubut Road. An RX-8 dream road, btw.

Ans then it happened. The gold minivan. Even worse than a Gold Toyota Camry. If any vehicle says "I'm clueless" more than a gold Camry it's a goldi minivan.

So he pulls onto Chickataubut in front of me an proceeds to take a corner at 5 and up the hill at 20.

Finally... after wanting to do it hundreds of times and now having the car with the acceleration means to pull it off, I roasted past this idiot on a double-lined mountain road. As I looked in my rearview after overtaking, there it was. A State Police Cruiser.

Lights on and I pulled over, waited, admitted to my crime and sat there for about 5 minutes before he came back to say:

"A fifteen year driving record and you've got nothing. I'm gonna let you off but you have to take it easy on these roads through the hills. Although I'll bet that's a pretty tough task when you're driving this thing."

Haha. 8 love from the State TrOOOPAH.

I get that urge all the time on my way back from work, taking the long route where there's few cars and a lot of turns, then connects to a long stretch freeway to 'open up'.
