The Problem with Good Brakes.......

is not everyone has them. Got rear ended by a Ford T-bird (mid 90s) this morning on my way to work. I was rolling up to a stoplight that went red. I stopped. They didn't stop as well. Luckily, it was just a tap. Have a gouge from their license plate bolt head in the upper lip of the lower plastic bumper piece. I already had a burn in that piece from when I bought the car so I'm not going to fix it. It'll give me impetus to get the piece filled and painted or go with a kit.

That stinks...might as well go with a kit....it'll be more fun than a fill and paint!

Well, right now I have some decent rock chips in the front bumper (one piece of "act of god" road salt off a dump truck left a particularly nice gouge), a nicely ground passenger aeroflare from a set of raised railroad tracks, and 2 gouges in the back lower bumper. It certainly smells like body kit, but not this year. I'll smack them up a little more before I delve back into the depths of the wallet (a sad sad empty place). Actually, I was so glad that the bumper wasn't really messed up, I didn't really care about the gouge. At first I didn't even want to get out of the car and look. It sounded much worse than it was.
