Question Philly dealerships

Hey everyone,

I bought my car in Gaithersburg, MD but live in Philly - are there any decent dealerships around to get the M-flash done? My car doesn't have it, as my dealer confessed over the phone, and I don't think I have L either, as the brake test doesn't work. I am closest to Pacifico Mazda near the airport, are they any good? The only other one I know of is in Conshohocken, they were a bit slimey and small when I was there last.

Also, saw a sweet looking silver 8 last night out of my window near University City. If it was one of the members, speak up. The car looked pretty sweet.

if you're up for the drive, Faulkner Mazda is a great dealer/service shop

I have heard some Faulkner horror stories, but I don't have any personal experience with them--so take that however you want to. I use Sussman for small things for both rotaries and they have been okay. Any big service I go to Hamilton Mazda (where I bought the car) for the 8 and KD Rotary for the 7.

Yes, Chan is the Man at Pacifico, but he is the service manager, not really a sales guy. Lamont is a easy going older guy that will take the time needed to let you drive, and talk with you too. and unlike John Kennedy in Conshohocken, they called me back when I said to, and kept in touch. SOmething about Conshohocken
turned me off.

Yup, Faulker Mazda is awesome. They are also MazdaSpeed Certified, in case you ever want to get MS parts installed with the warrenty.

Thanks, everyone. I was mainly interested in Pacifico for routine maintenance as they are right around the corner from my work. Sounds like they will get the job done. I already bought a replacement mirror from them a while ago, and they seemed very friendly and helpful, hooked me up with a 10% off just for telling them a sap story about my 10-day-old car being vandalized. John Kennedy was a weird dealership, didn't like it much when g/f was looking for her car. Small, too.
