any one know of any good shops that are relatively inexpensive?.....i need to get this done and dont feel like going to the bronx where i know i can get it for 150....its gonna be way too hot this week and the leather is already annoying me....need to cool it down somehow!....any good leads would be greatly appreciated :D

Hey, I got mine done in Somerville (auto creations), its alittle bit of a drive for you but they do great work. They only charged ne 170 for all of the windows done.

 

Where's this place in Somerville? I can't find a listing for Auto Creations online or on the phone book at all. I'm looking for a local (central NJ) tint shop to do mine as well.

 

Hey Jackinthebox, sorry its Auto Image, off of the Somerville Circle the phone number is 908-218-9757, Auto Creations is down the street from there and that is where I got my PIAA LED 194 Bulbs, there PH# is 908-429-8878. It only took them alitte under 2 hours to do my windows, I waited around and walked to Auto Creations.

I have never been there and dont know anybody that has gotten them done there

I got mine done at Car trix in Newark. My friends have been going there for years and they do a pretty reputable job. The best part is, if there is any imperfection, they completely warranty thier work so they will redo your tints if need be. I believe their price is around 150 - 170 as well so you might want to give them a call. If you arnt sure how to get there, see if you can make an appointment for Friday. Im off from work and I can take a ride up there with you if you want. Either way, let me know if and where you get your tints done.

P.S. John, one of the co-owners, has a white FD that he had running 10's with the stock turbos. Sometime last summer though he switched to a single and car is even quicker now.

5 Star Window Tint on Harrison Ave in Harrison is excellent. They take a while to get it done but only because they are perfectionists. They share a shop with East Coast Auto Sport.

I was thinking of doin the back and small side windows

 

i got all 5 at 20%.....helps allot with the sun.....

 

I got what is supposedly 35% all around, but it looks alot darker than that to me. Probably has to do with having a dark interior. if you saw my car at the meet on saturday, i had the tints on. Makes a titanium grey or sunlight silver car look alot sweeter.

 

I got 20% all around but I wanted 35% ended up taking the front tint out to dark windows did not want to get pulled over to many times.

Thinking about taking the the rest out and having 35% done all around.

Got my wife's car tinted all around with 50% but that is to light and she was also not a happy camper.
