I was visiting with my dealer Tuesday and asked which port the cars come to. He said they dock in New Jersey. AND that the emissions are added to the cars after they arrive. There is a potential delay at the port if US emission equipment fails to pass inspection or requirements change between what parts they think they need now and when the cars arrive. This apparently happened to either the Tribute or MPV according to the dealer. The delay entailed waiting for the parts to show up so they could be added to the vehicle.

 

I hope he's right- that would make delivery all that faster.
