hey fellow NY-er's, i need some help.

i need to go to a junk yard to find some parts. i went to some in flushing, queens and it was gross. imagine 4 white jewish boys and an asian going into a really bad area. we all thought we were gonna get shot.

at any rate, we need a junk yard that isnt in a trashy area. it doesnt have to be like a 5 star junkyard, but id like to not get robbed. we are in jericho, nassau county, long island so we can drive pretty much anywhere with in 45-mins of that area. any suggestions?

 

gun-land? puh-lease.its not that bad of a neighborhood.sure its pretty ugly looking but its not dangerous!its right by shea stadium.

ima agree with complex here. Its not that bad. Also i dont know of any junk yards in "good" areas by ur standards. Goto flushing get what u want and grow up. Welcome to NY..

 

Haha. It does look pretty scummy, but I don't worry about that place. Like complex said, it's right by Shea, where they held Rev-it-Up. That's the only place I know of, I don't think many places actually have the space or low land value for a junkyard. Best to just go there and look as intimidating as possible. :p

 

Theres one around the "PortHole" ( its a restaurant..in oceasnside, I believe..) Its right around there, I'll look into further directions for it..but thats the best I can do right now, maybe just look up the Porthole on the net..
